Mingardo
The Mingardo Blacksmith Workshop was founded in 1970 by Ilario Mingardo, who brought in almost twenty years of experience to the workshop. Started as simple creations for building projects it soon began to develop into increasingly complex commissions, partnering with architects and leading international companies: from the first collaborations with the architect Carlo Scarpa, to the most recent works for Museo del Novecento in Milan, Parco della Musica in Florence and Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari. Over the years the company started creating exclusive contemporary products, built and processed entirely by hand by a consolidated team of skilled craftsmen. The distinctive traits of the creations are the maniacal attention to detail and the deep know-how of the materials. In 2013 Daniele Mingardo founded the design brand Mingardo, which produces contemporary products in numbered edition, where metal is always the protagonist. The brand has a double soul: Mingardo Collection, with the production of exclusive high-end design objects, and Mingardo Architectural, which focuses on custom-made products.
